Lichtenberg figures are formed by the passage of high-voltage electrical discharges. They are named after Georg Christoph Lichtenberg, a German scientist who first studied them in the 18th century.
Lichtenberg figures are formed when a high-voltage electrical discharge passes through an insulating material, such as glass or plastic. The electrical discharge causes the material to break down and create a path for the current to follow. As the current flows, it leaves behind a pattern of branching channels that resemble tree branches, nervous systems, or lightning.
This piece is organic, fluid and breaks into delicate fractals. She seems to form an undulating dragon.
